5. Naked Lord Hanuman, Ravana and Naked Sita
The theme is from Ramayana in which the Lord Hanuman is seen in conversation with Ravana while Goddess Sita is seen naked, sitting on the thighs of the demon king Ravana. It should be noted, that the Hindu community believes that Sita was the purest of all the royal women in mythology. Depicting her in such an objectionable position was expected to generate protest.
