Baring Earth of Greenery
This may not be a problem which is exclusive to Delhi but it is one of the factors that led the capital to turn the so called gas chamber over the passage of time. Widespread construction activities and boom in the real estate segment has led to aggressive deforestation both in and adjoining regions of Delhi. Lack of greenery and rise of concrete jungle definitely plays a role in polluting the air.
