Despite several public awareness campaigns carried out in past years, the incidents of people burning garbage and dry tree leaves out in the open has not ceased.This is what slum dwellers and beggars indulge in chilling winter days to stay warm. However, doing so only adds to the pollution levels in the capital eventually. It was earlier highlighted by the National Green Tribunal, as the court has mentioned.
