4. Children With No Rights
Once again – not true. Under the Islamic law, Muslim children enjoy various rights that others do not place great importance on. Islamic law emphasizes that children should be brought up well and be well educated. Adults are trusted with the responsibility of turning their children into moral and ethical beings. In fact, Islamic law stresses equality among children, even allowing them to take a little of their parent’s wealth to sustain themselves if the parent does not provide proper funding for their living. The law goes so far as to forbid parents from hitting children across the face as well as from using anything larger than a pencil to hit a child. Now don’t you wish your sect had these benefits too?
