3. Ra.One – When Good Overtakes The Bad
Bollywood audience has never been kind to science fiction movies. So, it was a gamble when Badshah Khan’s production company decided to produce Ra. One, starring the Badshah himself, aka Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Ramphal. Thanks to Akon crooning Chammak Challo and of course the larger-than-life Shahrukh Khan the movie was a success. With a budget of Rs135 crore, this sci-fi did enough to recover the cost and make a profit.
