8. Jai Ho – Salman Reigns Again
The Bhai of Bollywood doesn’t believe in making movies with a miniscule budget. Invariably his gamble pays off, but not this time. Jai Ho was made at a cost of about Rs107, but it failed to recover this cost at the box office. Inspired by Pay It Forward, this Salman Khan movie did nothing to inspire the audience.
These are some of the most expensive Bollywood movies made till date. We have not added the recent epic Baahubali in the list even though it was made at a massive cost of Rs250 crore because it was made by the Telugu film industry and not Bollywood. Of course, the movie was a massive hit in all languages and we can’t wait to see the next part of it.
