Let’s face it. Delhi is a concrete jungle, so any urban green space is cherished. Sanjay Van, unfortunately, is avoided like plague even though it is a 10-kilometre wide green forest in Southwest Delhi, near Vasant Kunj. Why? The woods are dark and green and also haunted! The greenery is punctuated by the graves and mausoleums of Sufi saints, but it is the sound of kids crying, clawing and pushing that gets our goose pimples to grow the size of pebbles!
