- Ravangla
This hill town located between Gangtok and Pelling, is most notable for its Buddha Park and is one of the best places to visit in the southern part of the state. Amazingly, Ravangla is home to some of the rarest and endangered birds in the world like cuckoos, babblers, verditre thrush and more and therefore is considered a bird watcher’s paradise.
