8. The Lighting Ceremony
A spectacular sight to behold. This ceremony known as the ‘roshnni ceremony’ takes place fifteen minutes before the evening prayers. Candles are placed inside lamps and Persian verses are recited to the rhythm of drumbeats. After this, lamps are placed in four corners of the tomb and lit up producing a beautiful sight.
