7. Gangaajal – Cleansing The System From Within
A tremendously well acclaimed movie highlighting corruption in the police force along with the nexus of politicians with the law enforcers. Shown against the backdrop of a backward district in Northern India, it also focussed on how unqualified politicians with a criminal background try to manipulate the system to fulfil their vested interests. Ajay Devgan as the honest, hard-hitting cop, went on to win the National Award for this role.
