Meena Kumari came to be known as the tragedy queen of Bollywood and scorched the silver screen with her powerful performances in the 1950s and 60s. The talented and pretty actress fell in love with director Kamal Amrohi. They eventually tied the knot despite the age difference. Amrohi was about 15 years senior to the actor. Supposedly, it was Amrohi who did not want to have a child with her. Their personal and professional differences led to the divorce.
