This famous director of Rang de Basanti fame actually had to work as a tea boy in film sets to make a living. Before turning a Director, he even worked as a vacuum cleaner salesman. Although an SRCC alumnus, he found it hard to find his launch pad and it was only after his advertising firm was set up that he made his way through the competitive world of Bollywood.
