Dangal: Wrestling Drama From Mr. Perfectionist
Aamir Khan, the perfectionist actor is forever reticent about the number of films he does and he chooses the topics selectively than others. After a successful yet controversial ‘PK’, the star is all set to dazzle the silver screen with a sports biopic- ‘Dangal’. More than a decade back, he struck gold with ‘Lagaan’ -another sports film set in British ruled India. Based on the life of ace wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, the film shows Aamirplaying a wrestler. Aamir has worked on his physique and put on lots of weight to gel with the character. It is slated for a Christmas release.
Of course, 2016 has a number of other interesting films in the queue like Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.Movie buffs are also waiting for another SRK release, ‘Fan’.
