2. Sex Trafficking
Persons deceived, sold or forced into prostitution are victims in the crime of sex trafficking. These children and adults are sold off to others where they are forced into hard labour or sex. And if they do not comply they may be tortured, beaten or mistreated. Anyone who has any part to play in the whole process of human trafficking is punishable by law.
Trafficking in humans is basically slavery. One might think it is a thing of the past, but it is very common at present. In the United States, there are hundreds of thousands people being trafficked and millions more around the world. So how about the truth?
