6. India Needs To Wake Up To The Reality of Cyber Terrorism
The country is so far behind in protecting itself from cyber threats that it is completely vulnerable in this field. We need an institutionalized mechanism of a cyber army to deal with the threat. Though India is awakening to the threat of cyber warfare and is trying to imbibe global trends on this issue, the country’s cyber security continues to remain ineffective and inadequate. Cyber warfare is becoming a crime that is spreading quite rampantly. Our country has a long way to go to actually be able to achieve some degree of protection from cyber threats. Hopefully, we shall soon be equipped to defend our networks from such threats.
