The Purpose of World Peace Day
Naturally, this is the first thought that would come to our minds. Why do we celebrate this day? The International Day of Peace Is dedicated to the celebration of world peace and specifically to the absence of war and violence, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone for humanitarian aid access. However, this was the original intention of celebrating this day. But in 2013, the Secretary General of the United Nations dedicated this day to learning preventive ways to reduce war sustainability.
We celebrate this day as a way of strengthening the ideals of peace, within nations as well as among people of different nations.
