4. Kebili, Tunisia
Known to be one of the oldest Oases in Tunisia and North Africa, lies Kebili. It is the capital of the Kebili Governorate. It dates back about 200,000 years and is considered to have shown the earliest evidence of human habitation. Only after the Punic wars, did Kebili become a part of the Roman Empire. The lowest temperature to have been recorded happens to be 37 degrees F. There have been reports stating that the highest temperature recorded is 133 degrees F, but there isn’t any proof. The highest temperature recorded in Kebili, happens to be 131 degrees F.
