- Jama Masjid, Delhi
India’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid can accommodate a horde of 25,000 devotees during prayer hours. This mosque is considered to be one of the world’s most popular religious sites. Constructed all the way back in 1644 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the Jama Masjid is an inseparable part of Delhi tourism. The masjid comprises of four grand towers and three huge gates.
