- Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti
The gorgeous four sided figure of granite is said to be the grave of Sheikh Salim Chishti and is one of the best models of Mughal style in all of India. It resides in the city of Fatehpur Sikri near Agra. The tomb is where sage Salim Chisti spent most of his time meditating and contemplating on his thoughts right through his life. Constructed by Akbar as a sign of admiration, the tomb was completed in the year 1580 to 1581. People of all religions come forth to show respect with flowers all the time.
