Although having a democratic form of government with an elected head of state, Venezuela is slowly dying under the pressure of ill-governance and deep rooted corruption. The President’s intent to establish lifelong dictatorship has led to some serious constitutional reforms which has placed the country in this situation. There has been a persistent political and financial corruption at the deepest levels of the society in the past few decades.
