3. Parícutin Volcano
Parícutin, a cinder cone volcano located in Mexican state Michoacán. This volcano was witnessed by humans when it was created in 1943. It was active for 9 years, leading to scientific observation and attention. It led to evacuation of two towns. Amusing as it may sound, the initial eruption started at a cornfield.
