- Tōjō Hideki – The razor (kamisori)
Hands down the most brutal and militaristic leaders of Japan would be Tōjō Hideki. He ruled for most of World War II, but tried to commit suicide soon after. For his crimes against humanity he was sentenced to death by hanging.
