9. Chhoti Si Baat
This is a romantic comedy that showcases the brilliant Amol Palekar in a role that he plays to perfection. This movie showcases the story of a young, shy person who is not suave at all, who wants to impress a girl with his simple methods. However, no matter how hard he tries, all his efforts are in vain and go unnoticed. He then seeks help from a retired general who has his own ways and techniques of attracting girls and claims to understand their psychology. Whether he will manage to get the girl is what the rest of the film is about.
