No Festival Is Complete Without Food
Just like any other festival, an important aspect of Dussehra is the special cuisines that are made during the festival. Since people observe a fast during Navratri, eating only one meal, the Navratri meal has special courses. This meal includes special ingredients which vary from place to place. Besides red chilies, turmeric and cumin seeds, no spices are used. Some recipes to try at Navratri are Kottu Pakora, Kele ka Kofta, Saboodana Vadaa, Singhara ke Burfee, Coconut chutney and more which will leave you satiated and happy.
