Justin Robinson – Registered Dietitian
Justin believes in the motto indulging in just any food on pretext of Christmas or any holiday is not the right thing to do! Some people stick to the concept that on certain holidays you are supposed to gorge on these foods! They usually choose a pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving for example. It is prudent that you foods that taste yummy and also contain some amount of nutrients.
Summing It Up
No matter what you eat during Christmas and New Year, it is important to stay hydrated during the day. You tend to dance and move around a lot in these days and this may aggravate the thirst which is often mistaken as hunger. Drink water or tea at times to stay hydrated. It is also important to balance intake of animal meat with vegetable in Christmas meals from a health perspective.
